As you progress through the increasingly complex grid layouts, the maps introduce new mechanical constraints and obstacles. You will encounter locked doors that require keys, teleporters that warp you across the grid, and fragile tiles that can only be stepped on a limited number of times before crumbling. Since you cannot backtrack onto already colored tiles without failing, every step must be calculated beforehand.

To conquer the most difficult stages, always analyze the board design to identify the bottleneck tiles and dead ends. Dead ends usually represent the ideal starting or ending points of your route, while bottlenecks must be crossed at precise moments to avoid dividing the board into unreachable segments. Work backward from the exit or final tile to visualize the paint path and secure a perfect three-star rating.
